Poruthur Stores ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BonMart mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is stored and shared, and the choices available to you when you use BonMart.

By using BonMart, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the App.

1.1 Account and Authentication Information

When you create or access an account, we may collect your mobile phone number and information associated with your account. Phone-number authentication uses a one-time password (OTP) to verify your phone number.

1.2 Personal and Delivery Information

To process and deliver orders, we may collect information you provide such as your name, phone number, delivery address, landmark, postal/pincode information, and related address details.

1.3 Location Information

Where you choose to use location-based features, the App may access your device's location to help determine or select a delivery location and to support delivery address functionality. Location access is requested through the device's permission system, and you can control this permission through your device settings.

1.4 Order and Transaction Information

We collect information necessary to process your orders, including products ordered, quantities, prices, delivery details, order status, totals, and selected payment method or payment status.

BonMart may offer payment methods such as Cash on Delivery and QR based payment. Where an external payment provider is used in the future, that provider may process payment information under its own privacy policy and terms.

1.5 Cart and App Usage Information

Information relating to products you add to your cart and your interactions with ordering features may be stored or processed so that the App can provide its shopping and ordering functionality.

1.6 Device, Technical, and Notification Information

The App and its service providers may process limited technical information required to operate the App and deliver services, such as device-related information, application information, authentication information, and notification identifiers/tokens where push notifications are enabled.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use information collected through BonMart to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Verify your phone number and authenticate your account.
• Process, manage, and deliver your orders.
• Store and manage your delivery addresses.
• Provide location-based delivery functionality when you enable it.
• Maintain your cart, order history, and related app functionality.
• Send service-related notifications, including order updates.
• Respond to customer support requests and resolve service issues.
• Protect the App and our services against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App and its services.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Firebase and Other Service Providers

BonMart uses services provided by Google Firebase and related Google services to support authentication, cloud data storage, application functionality, and notifications. Information processed through these services is handled according to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

We may use third-party service providers where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, or improve the App and its services. Such providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to use it only for the purposes for which it was provided or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• Fulfil and deliver your orders.
• Provide services through our technology and infrastructure providers.
• Protect the security and integrity of BonMart and its users.

5. Data Storage and Security

Information associated with BonMart may be stored using cloud services, including Firebase services. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and its services, maintain your account and order history, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

When information is no longer required for these purposes, we may delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal or operational requirements.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your BonMart account and associated personal information by contacting us using the contact details below. Where account deletion is supported directly within the App, you may also use the account deletion option provided there.

Certain information may be retained where required or permitted by law, or where reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal compliance.

8. Your Choices and Permissions

You can control certain permissions through your device settings, including location and notification permissions. You may also choose not to provide optional information, although doing so may prevent some features from working correctly.

9. Children's Privacy

BonMart is not directed toward children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable legal requirements. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of BonMart after an update constitutes use subject to the revised Privacy Policy.
